BYU Museum of Peoples and Cultures

I visited the Museum of Peoples and Cultures at BYU with my 4 and 2 year old.  It was a fun, yet short excursion.  Before we began, we picked up an activity tote for the kids.  They had a few exhibits that the kids enjoyed and a couple of interactive things for kids to do along the way.  At the end of our self-guided tour, their is a small activity room where we did a few puzzles, put together an artifact from our activity tote and colored a picture.  My kids enjoyed the activities, but were a little young to get too much out of the actual exhibits.  But at the end of the day, they had fun, learned what an artifact is and we had a free activity for a rainy day.

 The Museum of Peoples and Cultures also hosts guided tours with activities, such as digging for artifacts and making pottery.  They have Story Time on Fridays and many other seasonal activities that are worth experiencing.  Visit their website or our calendar of events for more information:
